Trivia: -Possibly the best early film produced by Ubstudios. -Was in production at the same time as the first Ubstudios film ever, Justin City and is on the same tape. -The first Ubstudios film to attempt a coherent story -The first movie to use music during various parts. -Filmed almost entirely in a basement. -The town of Crape is actually a bunch of boxes that looks like a city when done properly. This technique was also used in the sequel and various other projects. -Van Stuber was not involved in the project until the film had already started production. The film ultimately would have failed had he not joined the crew. -The film mentions an earthquake. This is a reference to an actual earthquake that hit Casper in 1997 and was felt on the set. |
Goofs -visible camera/crew- Strings are visible on vehicles -visible camera/crew- The reflection of the camera can be seen when the metal skyscraper (model) falls near it. -audio problem- Stuboy says "look at that storm honey" in a man's voice and responds to his own point with another man's voice. -continuity errors- Props and buildings often change positions during cuts. -revealing - The giant cat is clearly being held by a person off camera, and not walking by himself. -Visible crew- Throughout the entire film the two crew members who created the film are visible, as both actors and crew creating the film itself. |
