-Filmed over a period of 3 days total, each about a month apart.
-References E.T. The Extraterrestrial and the non-existent movie "Night Skies", which this movie gets its name from.
 

-Revealing- The main Lego used changes designs for only one shot. This was because the original scene was accidentally taped over and the original Lego could not be located in time.

-Continuity- In several scenes, more leaves can be seen on trees then in previous shots. This was because the film started production in April and the final scenes were filmed in June of 2006.
