This board is set up to block any attempts of spaming through a file on the server that blocks robots from crawling the pages. This eliminates the possibility of a spam bot entering the forum and grabbing any email addresses. While it doesn't prevent some low life real person from going through the forums, *you can set it so you don't have to show your address in profile above* it protects you the user against the most common type of email address capture, spam bots.

So if you are worried about receiving spam because of this board, the chances of that happening are very low to nonexistant.

I have also set up a robot blocking text file in my main directory that will not permit robots (this includes those looking for spam) to enter the forum directory. This will help prevent any spam robots further.
