Today I successfully hiked to the top of Wire Mountain and took my video camera along with me.
On the top, there are two signal reflectors which are old as hell, as well as an out of action airway beacon that looks like it hasn't been in service for at least 30 years or so. I climbed to the top of the airway beacon and took some more pictures. Lots of stus hiking up there today, two aussies and a couple, as well as some guy who farted while stretching at the top. My shoes are full of mud, and my knees are killing me, but I'm back and in one shape.
Since I'm the one that created that Wikipedia article, I'll be adding to it soon with pictures and info about the hike. Hea.
