Got anything at all to say about either radio towers or scanner frequencies, or anything related to radio in general, here's where you go.

The Scary Noises on the Phone

Post by TheStuboy »

Here is actual recorded audio (with no loss of quality,) from a conversation I had with Van Stuber who lives near a military base.

Can you explain the weird ping beepish noises?

The file can be downloaded (mp3) here:

The file has been edited to include only the parts when the noises appeared, which was failry often. This is only a sniplet of them as I was not recording the whole time.

Van can confirm this conversation as authentic.

No, thats not messed with besides cut. The reception was terrible on his end I must admit, but the strange noises I can't explain.

Sounds like Wuss has his scanner on in the background. Maybe the frequencies from the Military base bled onto his phone. At work a lot, cell phone calls will bleed onto my computer speakers.
