Today, while trying to DX KBET from Las Vegas, I got 790 KFPT from Clovis, CA, Talk. They were playing Air "Gas" America comercials and had the Randy Rhodes show on. They IDed pretty clearly. Hea. This might be the last station DXed from Flag althought since Bellemont is only 10 miles away, my stations there will go toward the Flagstaff count.

Yup, thats KFPT, I hear it quite often. KO is a part owner of this station.

I thought I posted this last night but it must not have gone through. Anyway, I got 790 KBET, Winchester, NV, Unknown Format last night from Flag. I confirmed what kind of music it was playing in Kangman during my ADOT run. I clearly heard them ID in Kangman during the day. It plays Relaxing Flaculence, Yanni, Enya, John Tesh kind of music. There is only one station in the west on that Frequency that plays that music. I didn't hear them ID hear but I know thats what it was. I heard it this morning too.

Ell! Looking over RL's record it says this station just got its liscence this month, so its brand spanking new. I bet it has been on air for at least a few months though and they were probably testing it. I wouldn't doubt the format will change too once they settle on something.

Ell, if that is a new station, I will try for it! It looks like it has a decent range.
