Flagstaff received its first Canadian station tonight. It also received its 200th station so I'm going to go out and find a Mantha to beat to celebrate. I was trying to DX 990 XET from Monterey when I turned my radio to face north and heard what sounded like a public radio station. I waited till the top of the hour and they had the CBC news. At the end of the broadcast I heard a lady say Winnipeg and I was like Elllll. I got 990 CBW, Winnipeg, MB, Public Radio. I heard them give the weather and checked it out on weather.com and it matched. I listened to it at the top of the 6:00pm hour and 7:00pm hour. I never actually heard CBW but I know i'm on 990 and I heard them say Winnipeg. They mentioned the CBC news network a couple times..........Elll.

Elll. A Day after I get CBW from Canada I get another unexpected station. This time I was tuned into 1120 to try and get KPNW but instead I got 1120 KMOX, Saint Louis, MO, news/talk. I clearly heard them ID several times and I heard them say Saint Louis. Elllll.

If I lived anywhere but the dorms, I may have suprassed 150 by now but alas, I have to deal with interference, and lack of time to DX. Congrats on the 200, and it seems things aren't slowing down either. Hea.

Ell, I got KNMX 540, Las Vegas, NM, Spanish. After Stuboy put up the challenge to pick it up I did and at the top of the hour I heard, KNMX, Las Vegas....
