SLC gets PORTLAND!!!!!

Thats right, on the way back from Acting class at 9 pm this evening, I turned over to 1190 and long behold, there it was, KEX, still on Day power, and very loud and clear. I listened for a commercial and heard it was a real estate/money type show. So, when I got back to the dorms I listened to KEX on the net and there it was, the very same show, loud and clear.

KEX went to night power at exactly 9:07 Mountain Time, so 8:07 Pacific.

I now have the first Oregon station!

Confirmed via the internet broadcast.

oh leeroy! now you just have to wait till KANN is off the air so you can hear KPNW.

I doubt that'll ever happen, KANN is a hess religious station and the mormons wouldn't have none of that.
