Its official, K-UDX is now on FM at 101.9, simulcasting and broadcasting (about) the same range as it's AM counterpart.
We are still working out kinks and range problems as they arise, but things are looking great so far. THe FM transmiter sounds very good.
What Simulcasting is, is that the AM station is broadcasting exactly the same audio as the FM is, at the same time.
Nothing is for certain at this point but the AM transmitter may be ditched in the future on account of problems it appears to have as well as poorer sound and range then the new FM. Stay tuned for more updates and as always, check the new website out:
Its sounds a hell of a lot better than the AM side does but goes about just as far. Of course on FM, you have to be line of sight with the tower on my roof to hear the station at its best. Hills and stuff will kill it.

I can hear it about as far as the AM went when it was at its best, except when my car's antenna can't see my house, then it gets choppy and/or doesn't exist at all. If I were to go up on South Hill, I'd likely hear it well.
