Best (and Worst) Movies of 2014

Yup...It's that time of year again. I know I know. 2014 is almost a year gone by but it takes time to catch up on most of the 2014 movies I have seen. So you know the rules. If you don't then GURSTU. 2014 was an ok year. Nothing really stands out as a 5 star instant classic (except for the Cosmos series on TV with NdGT and Parenthood) but there were some decent movies that came out. Lets look at our list. Starting with the best....

Best of 2014

1. Edge of Tomorrow - (Tom Cruise's Video Game Dream)
2. Whiplash - (Drums get played, Ballwarz are unleashed)
3. Gone Girl - (Who Shinged Who?)
4. Big Hero 6 - (Big Jag 9)
5. Fury - (Who is going to Oates who when the movie slows down)
6. Godzilla - (Godzirrrraaaaaa. Ret them Frighttttt)
7. Locke - (Tom Hardy Drives - You Watch)
8. How to Train Your Dragon 2 - (How to Train Your Own Too)
9. Guardians of the Galaxy - (Michael Rooker gets blue Balls)
10. The One I Love - (Interesting concept of differentiating Oates) (Tie)
10. Birdman - (Michael Keaton Farts in His Underwear) (Tie)


When the world goes to hell, you know Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt will be there for you.

Now onto Documentaries, a fairly descent year with one standout. I found Dinosaur 13 about the discovery and trials of the T-Rex named Sue so fascinating that I 5 starred that shit.

3. Atari - Game Over - (Game over Man)
4. Stop At Nothing, Lance Armstrong Story - (Story of a Sociopathic Asshole)
5. Dam Nation - (The Dam is OUUUTT)
6. Alive Inside - (Touching way to listen to music)

As for TV some good shit was watched
1. Cosmos - A Space Time Odyssey - (NdGT Proves for Once and for all he is a Scientific Bad-ass)
2. Parenthood - Season 5 (Damn good Show!)
3. The Knick - Season 1
4. Shameless - Season 4 (Seasons are Getting Better)
5. Game of Thrones - Season 4 (Ultimate Shinging, makes more sense after reading books.)
6. House of Cards - Season 2 (FU Frank)
7. True Detective - Season 1 (Woody and Matthew McConaughey get some good oates and fight some crime)
8. The Killing- Season 4
9. The Newsroom - Season 3
10. The Affair - Season 1 (Wild Oates poises Owf Everybody)
11. Family Guy-Season 13
12. Masters of Sex - Season 2
12 (tie) South Park - Season 18
13. The Fall - Season 2

Now onto the worst. Wasn't much to mention here and even some of the worst are average but here we go.

Worst of 2014

1. Kink - (You would think a movie about Kinky Oates would be interesting...this thing is turrible and boring)
2. The Monuments Men - (George Clooney and crew learn how to smugly make monuments in Europe during WWII while saving art. To bad the movie sucks)
3. Merry Friggin Christmas - (It’s too bad Robbin Williams died but he had to make one terrible movie a year, even up to the end)
4. The Amazing Spiderman 2 - (Not turrible but not necessary either.)
5. Inherent Vice - (I love PTA but, come on man. Not a bad movie but just wish it was a somewhat better)
6. The Raid 2 - (Ok not really worst of 2014 but even shings can be overdone.)
