New UT station

Got anything at all to say about either radio towers or scanner frequencies, or anything related to radio in general, here's where you go.

KANNG is pretty powerful, even here. Roy is of course though less than 50 miles away and its a 10kw station by day. Did you get it at night, because thats a miracle 1kw catch like KXOL. Must be something to do with the Great Salt Lake.

I got KANN about 7:30 or so, I would suspect it was still on Day power cause when I was facing NE it was real clear. I also believe KXOL is always on day power and that is why I can hear it everywhere.

I'm not sure about KXOL. Though its often clear here during the day, there are times at night when a gringo station takes over. I don't believe KXOL would have 10kw at night. Its just a fluke station with a good tower location most likely.
