Two new CA Stations from Flagstaff

Ell, The DX List goes on. I heard KFWB 980 from Los Angeles pretty clear except everytime they IDed I couldn't make it out because I would drive under a power line or something. I'm pretty sure it was them though because they were talking about LA.

I also picked up KSJX 1500 San Jose. I'm pretty sure this was it because they were not speaking spanish and it definately sounded asian. It must be the station KO/PT Asian girls listen to and dream about their dorky asian counterpart guys to.

Ell, told you that you would get KFWB. That KSJX I think I have that from So CA so it wouldnt suprise me if you could hear it in Flagstaff. Other CA Stations you should try for are:

580 KMJ Fresno, N/T
710 KSPN Los Angeles, ESPN
760 KFMB San Diego, N/T
1100 KFAX San Francisco, Jebes
1510 KSPA Ontario, Oldies
1640 KDIA Vallejo, Jebes

Ell, got another Station this morning on my way to work. KLTT 670 Religious from Commerce City, CO was fighting against a Gringo Station. Anyway, I'm sure it was them because I heard them ID. Ell, I like the Milo head Avatar. Milo..Oh OH.

PS. That station I got from San Jose yeterday is Asian format. Hea.

I think that station he thought was mexican is actually KIRN the Iranian station out of the LA area (Simi Valley). You should try once more and hear if the language sounds more middle eastern or if they play middle eastern sounding music which they do sometimes. It could easily be confused.

Ell, I was just getting done eating lunch and switching through the AM dial when I heard something on 1650, Sports. Turns out its KBXZ 1650 Flagstaff, Fox Sports Network. Sorry Stu, you dont have to update this now if you dont want to.

I couldn't find KBXZ or any 1650 from Flagstaff stu, there is no 1650 in the state of AZ. The only thing it might be is 1650 KFOX Torrance, CA, and thats Asian. I can't find anything on 1650 that broadcasts Fox Sports Radio. You might be hearing a harmonic from a Phoenix station, but I doubt it. If they IDed clearly then Flagstaff must have a new station because I'm not finding it.

Edit, checked FCC, no 1650 in AZ, closest 1650 is CA. You heard a harmonic or an FM bleed, no Fox Sports on 1650 unless KFOX changed it's format.

KBXZ 1650, Flagstaff, AZ Fox Sports Radio 100 Watts

Its only .1 Watts but its there and I am 100% positive its not a bleed and from Flagstaff. I heard comercials for local businesses and he said Flagstaffs only AM sports station. I know it's there.
