11-9-05 Walking DX

Ell, very good night for Dxing, lots of distant stations coming in relatively clear, heard KGA Spokane, WBAP Fort Worth, TX. Also got two new stations and one from your new neck of the woods.

1430 KLO Ogden, UT 10/5kw Talk, was broadcasting some hess programming, but IDed cleary after giving weather for the Wasatch Front.

Also confirmed that the 1040 gringo is KURS San Diego, It says it is gospel on radio locator but I keep hearing them say things about the San Diego area, and they had ESPN Deportes which is the gringo ESPN on there and I looked up ESPN Deportes affiliates and that is the one in San Diego. So maybe it is gospel during the day and Spanish at night but the mystery 1040 station is KURS. Its really low power 370/63 Watts

Another dx occured 11-10-05, Got one new station

560 KSFO San Francisco, N/T/AH 5/5Kw

Also heard KGA again. KGYN heard an ID, I hear this most nights otherwise.
