Strange Morse code on 14 and 5 mHz

Got anything at all to say about either radio towers or scanner frequencies, or anything related to radio in general, here's where you go.

Strange Morse code on 14 and 5 mHz

Post by TheStuboy »

I am hearing what van stuber would know as "dance to the morse code" on shortwave from here. Its in one of two spots, just below WWV and somewhere around 14 mHz. I have an audio sample of the sound in its complete cycle. This morse code repeats over and over an endless amount of times. It makes the needle on my radio jump.

The clip has had noise reduction applied to it. It has not been manipulated in any way.

If anyone knows what this is please let us know on this forum. I have also dxed this in Casper, WY (a long time ago) and have heard it periodically in Green River, WY. This was heard in Laramie, WY on 3/22/05 2:30 PM.
