Ya, I've heard HARs maybe 5-10 miles away, 15 miles max on a crazy day. I noticed a significant number of HARs in the state of WA are on 1610 you might just need to find the one that is the closest, It may be from ID unless you heard them say WA. Or the best thing to do is just keep listening for it and get an actual ID. This is the HAR resource I have used for years:

Ell, I heard it today again and it was coming in even clearer. I heard them ID again WQBV569 and they were talking about Central Washington. I even heard them say near Yakima. I am 95% sure I got this. Other DXers have received this too. There is even a DXer from Bothel that got this station.

See if you can record it and email it to me stu.
That guy that received it is always on the FM DX list I watch so I know he is pretty reliable.
I still have a hard time believing a HAR is traveling 200+ miles at 10 watts. They may be using more wattage than 10 since it isn't listed.

Ya, it sounds like you confirmed it, and some dude did say he heard it in Bothel. It must be broadcasting with at least 1000 watts. The nearest HAR to me is like 7-8 miles away and I cant hear it unless I'm within 2-3 miles. When I lived in WA I got 1610 WPUJ642 which is the Kingston-Edmonds Ferry HAR, that was about 10 miles from where I lived.
Oh Leeroy what a knockout!

ELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
Yesterday and today, I got and confirmed a major DX find. I got 1700 KVNS, Brownsville, TX, Classic Hits. Yesterday driving at about 6:30 PM I heard classic rock on 1700. Today I heard it again. I went home and used the listen live and the car radio to confirm that they were playing the same songs. Most notably, Three Dog Night's Shambala. Anyway, there is no other station on that frequency that plays this kind of music or that would be playing the same songs. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to get this stu. You might be able to get this too Leeroy. ELLL.
