KBLA but none of the new SoCal Changes. Car DX 2-08-05

I got KBLA (new), which wasn't very clear but the only gringo on the dial so I figured it was KBLA. Besides, the other gringo stations on 1580 arent of any power and there is no gringo in MX close enough on 1580 to be anything.

I also tried to hear the changed so cal stations like xetra ktlk and klac but got nothing but salina ks (not new) on 1150 and junk on the others.

Next car dx will try to be earlier in the evening maybe just as the sun is going down and KLAC/KTLK/XETRA are all on day time power.

Was trying to get WCKI 1530, WHKI 1220, KAAY, 1090, WOWO 1190, KCTA 1030 and WMVP 1000 but got stations I already had on each.
So nothing but KBLA to report from this car dx.

KBLA is not as powerful as you might think, you could of heard the Hermosillo, MX station but who knows.

As for the stations you were trying to get, WOWO and WMVP have both been heard on the NE WI DX, WOWO very powerful station out of Fort Wayne, IN, comes in perfect in WI, and WMVP sports radio out Chicago comes in well too on 1000, though I would assume you would hear KOMO on 1000 in WYO, as I hear it here most nights car dxing here.

I also heard an unidentified gringo station on 1000, not sure what it is but most likely I already have it, Yay the forums are up again.

Ell, not sure what the G on 1000 is, I may have heard it though, might be mexico city.

Doubt I have Mexico City on 1000, its probably some local gringo I can't remember. I know I have it marked though.

No listing of gringos on 1000, 1 super low power station in TX, and many mexican stations.
