Sheridan DX - October 2022

Hea, tonight I decided to see what the DX gods were up to and to see if they were smiling in my direction. Turns out, they were. I tuned it to 1420 which is usually garbled by Sheridan's 1430 station but I was able to null it and heard local commercials and then several clear IDs for 1420, KTOE, Mankato, MN, N/T 5K.



Next I stayed on 1420 and started hearing rock and roll music. It was Bad Company and then Stevie Nicks - Edge of 17. I was searching the live stream and confirmed it was coming from 1420, KTAN, Sierra Vista, AZ, 1.5/0.5K, Classic Rock. It was coming in strong enough to be heard in faintly in the background but I listened through several songs and it was it!

Hea, closed out October with one more DX catch. Now the season is starting to kick in in earnest. Got 1510, KFNN, Mesa, AZ, Business, 22/0.10. I heard it in the morning after Leeroy heard it in California in the morning as well. It was coming in fairly good and matched the online stream.
