This is going to be short and sweet. COCO easily takes its place in the top 10 films of 2017. The film is a beautifully animated tale that gets quite touching. Moreso than the intro to Up, I dare any tough guy to make it through this film without showing emotion. This is probably Pixar's brightest film and maybe even it's most colorful. You can tell they're pushing the software to the limit. That's why Pixar wins awards, they create the envelope and they push it farther. All other animation studios make their films look too cartoony. Things have come a long way from Toy Story that's for sure. Speaking of Toy Story, look for the Pizza Planet truck near the beginning. Go see it!
