The Best (and Worst) Movies of 2001

2001 was a strange and dark year. Of course 9/11 changed the world and America forever. Besides that, I remember living in the frat house during the fall semester (got straight A's because I essentially lived in the library doing all my homework and studying there. You can't study in a frat house. Anyway, through all the boozing, almost dates and almost girlfriends, I managed to see some movies. Once again, more shit than good but there were some shining examples including the First Lord of the Rings movie as well as Oceans 11 and the amazing Band of Brothers TV series that my frat brothers and I would watch together and brought us closer together after 9/11. Anyway, here is the list.

The Best movies of 2001.

1. The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring - (The Lord of the Dings - The Fellowship of Frodo's Scrote)
2. Oceans 11 - (Best movie about robbing a Vegas Casino)
3. American Pie 2 - (The Gang goes to College)
4. Black Hawk Down - (Irene...Fucking Irene)
5. Training Day - (Kaing Kong's got Nothing on Denzen)
6. Blow - (This movie doesn't Blow)
7. Saving Silverman - (Jack Black and R. Lee Emry are KANG)
8. Shrek - (It was good when it first came out)
9. Jurassic Park III - (Talking Velociraptor's are the next step in Dino Evolution)
10. Enemy at the Gates - (Enemy at the...wait a minute was that Rachel Wiesz's bum?)


One shing to control them all. P.S. You know if Sean Bean is in a movie, he probably wont make it out alive.

1. Freddy Got Fingered - (I always hated Tom Green and didn't think he was funny. Turns out, I was right. God this movie is so bad. Can't believe I was tricked into watching it)
2. K-Pax - (Kevin Spacy plays an alien at a Missoula TV station KPAX and he ends up turning into a boring turd)
3. 13 Ghosts - (13 Reasons not to see this Movie)
4. From Hell - (Jack the Ripper gets Ripass)
5. Bandits - (Bruce Willis plays a game of Willis with his co-stars)
6. Dr. Dolittle 2 - (Eddie Murphy inspects cats butts for a living)
7. Spy Game - (Robert Redford gets pissed off at Brad Pit in Tony Scott's shakey cam fest)
8. I am Sam - (Everybody tells me I need to watch this again, give it another chance. Maybe someday I will but for now, all I remember is bad camera angles and hea)
9. Pearl Harbor - (Ok, the attack on Pearl Harbor is great cinema, everything else in this 3 hour monster is terrible)
10. A Beautiful Mind - (Yes it one best picture, but my mind remembers it being real boring)
