Ell, got 1260 KSFB, San Francisco, Religious 5/5 tonight and confirmed it using my iphone (iheart radio app). I think the Iphone might be a great new tool in the sport of DXing.

Hea, I've been using my phone for DX help since I got it almost three years ago. It eats up data if you're not at home with wifi, but you can use TuneIn to stream a lot of stations and just confirm along with it. That's my most useful tool at present. I get to the point where I don't want to sit and wait for an ID so I look at all the stations of that format and listen to their streams.

Also, this website: http://www.topazdesigns.com/ambc is very helpful if Radio-locator is down or inaccurate. Some DXer in Ontario told me that Radio-locator is highly inaccurate. I believe him.

Ell, a good night for DXing. Confirmed the classical music on 1260 was KMZT, Beverly Hills, Classical, 20/7.5. Confirmed through Ifart radio app



Also heard some commercials for Boise Idaho on 790. Also heard some religious programing. Turns out it is 790 KSPD, Boise, ID, Religious, 1/0.06K Hea listening to some adult contemporary on 1510 trying to figure out what it is now.



Ell Turns out the music on 1510 is 1510 KCKK Littleton, Colorado, Adult Hits, 10/25K. confirmed with online stream. I sure is nice KGA is out for a while. They had a hell of a wind storm up there and we got some of it down here..

Hea, I realized I already had 1510 Littleton after I posted it. Too bad KGA is back on the air blocking everything else. I did get, 1600, KUBA, Yuba City, California Oldies, 5/2.5K today. Confirmed it by streaming it over the iphone. hea hea.

Hea, last night I heard a sports station on 1600. I'm also pretty sure I heard a commercial for something in Colorado. Must be, 1600, KEPN, Lakewood, Colorado, Sports, 5/5K. Hea.
