It sounds like your hearing 1140 out of Canada and not KGEM. I hear that station all the time and they always say 1140 AM and today they were playing countryish music. Listen for the weather and if they talk about temps below 0, you are getting Canada.

I thought that was a possibility, the first night I heard it I heard 2 other Calgary stations so its definitely not out of the question that I can hear that far. Its hard to hear what they are saying when the music isnt playing because KHTK is so much louder.

Ell Got a couple of stations today. First off I got 820 KUTR, Taylorsville, UT, Crappy Christian Contemporary.



Next I got 1110 KFAB, Omaha, NE, N/T



I heard a news station on 1290 which could be Missoula or Pendelton OR but I am not sure which one it is. I also hear a country station which is probably Pocatello. Need to confirm these.

Keep trying 1290, you will eventually hear KGVO. Also try 1370 for KXTL Butte, MT. I heard it in WA so you can definitely hear it.

Yesterday I got 1430 KCLK, Asotin, WA, Sports. It was coming in pretty good in Grangeville but even better Lewiston, ID.

Hea, I just picked up the closest station to you stu. Today I got 1370 KSOP, South Salt Lake City, UT, Country during the lunch drive to work.

Ell got two new stations today.

Fist off in the morning I got 1530 KFBK, Sacramento, CA N/T. It was coming in fairly strong.



Next up I got 1290 KOUU, Pocatello, ID, Country. It was coming in fairly clear during the lunch drive.



I thought I heard 1320 KXRO yesterday from Aberdeen WA but I need to confirm that one. There was some jumble going on. Hea.

Yesterday on the 23rd, I picked up 1580 KGAL, Lebanon, OR, N/T. This is kind of surprising since it is only a 1K station but I heard it fairly clear.

This Christmas, when the Stuboy and Fam came up to Grangeville, there some good DXing done. Here is a simple list with frequencies and dates received.

1. 1690 KFSG, Roseville, California, Spanish (12/24)
2. 1000 KOMO, Seattle, WA, News, (12/27)
3. 1660 KXOL, Brigham City, UT, Spanish (12/27)
4. 710 KIRO, Seattle, WA, Sports (12/27)
5. 640 KGVW Belgrade, MT, Religious (12/27)
6. 1040 KXPD, Tigard, OR Regional Hexican (12/27)

Today I got two new ones

7. KSRV 1380, Ontario, OR, County (12/28) *Confirmed via Stuboy on the road near Boise.





8. 1370 CFOK, Westlock, Alberta, Country (wasn't playing Country, It was playing Rock). This is the furthest north station yet. It is located north of Edmonton. I could of sworn I heard Butte Montana on the same frequency but I need to confirm this.
