Northern Arizona - August 2009 DX

Got anything at all to say about either radio towers or scanner frequencies, or anything related to radio in general, here's where you go.

Its impossible for me to get that many stations living on the coast. Half my station range is covered by the Pacific Ocean. According to my records I have 190 stations from N. CA

It would be the same for you in the summer for e-skip. You'd likely get stations within 500-1300 miles to the north, east, and south of you, but no way you could hear FM from Hawaii unless it was multihop skip.

I've looked at HI stations before and I think there is nothing over 10kW. Ell, I may get a chance to go to Hawaii next year and it would be cool to see if I could hear stations on the west coast
