I (may) FINALLY GET TO GO TO HOLLYWOOD!!!

Pending our class getting the necessary funding from Astuu (the associated students at the U of U) the Advanced Video Production class of the 2007-2008 semesters is going to Hollywood in March of 2008.

This three day trip may include stops at such places like

Warner Brothers Studios
Universal Studios (back lot)
The sets used for Desperate Housewives
A Post Production Facility
Numerous sets and things around Burstank (probably see Universal City etc).
and I'm sure several other places.

According to my professor, this is the "number one way to get your foot in the door" if you want to end up in Hollywood, like I eventually will. We may see some famous people, we may not. All I know is my camera is coming with me, and there aint no limits to how many pictures I'll take. This is going to kick ass.

You should go visit Gomps, he still does extra work and could probably get you to work as an extra on a show or movie.

If the pay was good and livable I'd consider it. It would be awesome if I ran into Spielberg and he said "Come here little boy, I'll show you everything there is to directing a movie." I'd be like leeee, urgay. No, I'd probably pass out. That or pass gas.

No, Im just saying if you visited him for a few days he could set you up on a tv show or something. I almost did extra work one weekend, but it fell through. Extras only make minimum wage, you wouldnt want to do that as a job.
