N. CA gets new Canadian station

Got anything at all to say about either radio towers or scanner frequencies, or anything related to radio in general, here's where you go.

N. CA gets new Canadian station

Post by leeroy_t »

Ell, I finally got the chance to do a real DX tonight, I was out on my back porch as I get too much interference in my house. Anyways, I got 1 new local emergency broadcast station and 1 new Canadian station!

I was listening to AH on 600 KOGO and could hear this oldies music in the background but it was very faint. After about a half an hour it started to come in clearer and I got an ID, Unforgettable 600. Before I Ided it I had looked online and thought it was this, but just wanted to 100% confirm it.

Ell, it must be a northern night, I got a lot of Canadian stations tonight, several from BC and one from Alberta. I also got an AZ station stu might know of, KFNX from Cave Creek. I used the online broadcasts extensively tonight to confirm the stations, and most of the Canada ones had online broadcasts.

We were picking up stations right next to each other, hea hea! Kang kang.
