Thats right. The script is in the preliminary beginning stages and a title has been found. Old titles such as "The Wasatch Enigma" or "Crimson Mountain" didn't quite capture what I was looking for in the story. The new title is...........PITHECUS. I know what your saying. What the hell is Pithecus? Think about Australopithecus and Gigantopithecus. Think about the famous fossil found in Ethiopia named Lucy.
Pithecus happens to mean "Ape or Monkey" in greek. Many scientists believe apes and humans rose from a common ancestor in the pithecus species. The main perceived protagonist in our movie happens to be a bigfoot which some scientist suggest is related to the Gigantopithecus, see picture below. It makes sense to call this movie pithecus because what ever is out in the mountains terrorizing the humans in this film, is related to apes and man in certain ways. Bigfoots, if they exist, may be a part of the long line of pithecus, species.
Expect script writing to continue in the next couple of weeks.

On a side note. Calling all UBSTUDIOS film crew. Keep an eye out online or at local shops for costumes we could use for Bigfoot. There is a nice one online but its $499 which is a little out of our movies budget. anyway. This is an official costume call for bigfoot costumes.
