2 Possible CA stations competing....

Got anything at all to say about either radio towers or scanner frequencies, or anything related to radio in general, here's where you go.

2 Possible CA stations competing....

Post by TheStuboy »

with each other were received here in SLC this evening.

They were both on the same freq: 1140, and one IDed.

So, I have KHTK from Sacramento now. The other was announcing sports scores at the top of the hour and did not ID. He then said here in San Diego...

KHTK was playing a Kings vs Spurs game.

Leeroy, do you know what the other 1140 could be? Its not the Palm Springs one is it?

Stu, what you heard was almost definetly 1140 KSFN Las Vegas. KSFN is a LA Dodgers affiliate and I just checked and the Dodgers were playing in SD last night. So that has to be it.
Oh Leeroy what a knockout!

Not from CA, definetly KSFN. Tricks you cause they are a dodgers affiliate in NV. That was a pretty easy one to solve. Ell I went to Alcatraz today, it was pretty cool.
