Below is an interesting tower known as an AT&T Long line transmitter that, according to information from this site, has likely been in service since at least the 1960s. It is used for microwave signal transmission of telephone calls etc. It is located on South Hill and is visible and accessible from WYO-530.
This tower relays information from several other southern Wyoming transmitters
of similar design located in Uinta County and in Carbon County to the east. Long
line transmitters are rarely used in the 21st century.
