Thats right. I didn't believe it either although it is certainly plausible and physics does permit it. I just picked up 650 KGAB from Orchard Valley, Wyoming, news/talk. According to Radiotower locator, there are only 12 stations using the frequency of 650. Half of those are West of the Mississippi. KGAB must have been on high power still because it was 7:30 here and 8:30 there in WY. I never expected to get another Wyoming station since KTWO is the strongest but here you go. I clearly heard them ID and say the temperature. I even checked the temperature and sure enough, it was they said 35 degrees on the radio and weather channel showed 30. It's close enough and, unless it was the Alaska or Manti UT frequency, no other 650 would be that cold in the west. I know what I heard.
