Ell the DX gods are smiling at me again. I can finally pick stuff up on my little grundigity and do some directional work. As a result, I got 1260 KPOW, Powell, WY, Country

Last night at almost midnight (I was cutting elk meat up late last night) I got 1430 KEZW, Aurora, CO, Nostalgia on the way home. It was a cold snowy night and KEZW was appropriately playing Boymas music.

Ell, tonight I got a Highway Advisory Radio signal on 1610. It was the top of the hour but it faded out before I could get an ID and the interference from powerlines in this town is bad. I couldn't tell where she was talking about either. Any Ideas on where I can find HAR information for a station closest to here? I checked the Idaho Transportation Department web page and they suck.

I think your best bet is either the Dover one or Clark Fork one. If you can find out what state it is (they usually say, like Idaho Dept. of Transportation etc.) that will help.

I couldn't find any close HARs in Washington. The closest were the Clark Fork and Dover ones, with Clark Fork being closer. Using google earth it is about 89 air miles.

It is operated by the Montana Dept. of Transportation and would ID as WPWA784.

They are 10 watts, not directional, day/night from poles.

Hea. I'll have to listen again to see if I can hear what roads they are talking about on 1610.

Meanwhile, I got 810 KTBI, Ephrata, Washington, Religious today. I am pretty certain I got it because it was a religious stations and they were going off the air at 430 PM this time zone. They were talking about other stations in Washington that carried the same show.

El, Got 1170 KFAQ, Tulsa, OK, N/T today. Clear ID and all.

Got a twofer, almost a threefor today on 1600. First I got 1600 KOPB, Eugene, OR, Public Radio.



Next I heard a bunch of Indians (Dot's not feathers) on 1600 saying stuff I didn't understand. It's definitely 1600 KVRI, Blaine, WA, Ethnic (Indian).



I heard Spanish or Mexican on there and I think it's Utah but that channel is so full that it got all garbled at the top of the hour and I couldn't tell wtf it was.

Shweeeu. Chances are you got KTUB 1600 from Centerville. I won't count it until you 100% confirm it.

I got 1030 XESDD the other day when KTWO was broadcasting that scary noise you can hear on the new page. They IDed at 11:57 PM leaving 3 minutes of dead air, and XESDD came in and IDed. The ID is on the site now.

Ell you need to update your page with those new stations and stop farting. Today, I got 550 KOAC, Corvallis, OR, Public Radio. Was barely coming in on the Grundigity but I heard them saying it was Oregon's public radio.

I was trying to get Radio Disney out of Utah but to no avail. Will try again.
