Patrick Swayze Dies At Age 57

Postby TheStuboy » September 14th, 2009, 8:17 pm

Ubstudios sends its thoughts and condolences to the family of Patrick Swayze who has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer earlier today. His family was at his side. He was 57 years old.

Swayze, as you may know, starred in some pretty big movies, from Red Dawn to Ghost, and had a show currently on A&E that for some coincidental reason, was not picked up for its second season.

He also starred in Dirty Dancing among other films.

Ubstudios remembers his performances in Red Dawn and Ghost the most, and will miss having a chance of working with him.

He is likely in a better place.

Rest in Peace Patrick Swayze, 1952-2009.

Don't forget he was in Point Break and Donnie Darko too.

Hard to believe he was the same age as the WA Ladies, it always seemed like he was a teenager when we were kids. Red Dawn was partly the inspiration for the Ubstudios films WWIII and Armahessian. Ell, how is the job hunt going?

Ya, having worked for many stu companies that have gone tits up I've learned that people only want to hire local candidates that they can interview in person. We've been interviewing ppl lately and we dont even look at candidates out of the area. If you want to move to the midwest you should just do it and you will increase the area in which you could get meaningful interviews. Its also dirt ass cheap and you could live pretty well while looking. Government jobs at any level wont get back to you for like 6 months and half the time you wont hear a thing because stu veterans get preference for having their nut sacks blown off in Afghanistan. Oh well, I know it sucks, but keep up the good fight!
