Stuboy's Impending Updated Best and Worst of 2019

Postby TheStuboy » December 16th, 2019, 9:05 pm

Another year has come and almost gone. Another lousy year of movies with a few bright spots. Its certainly no 1999, which ended on a strong note, movie-wise. Alas there are still a couple weeks in the year and a few big movies I want to see.

This list will be updated, but, for now:

1) Avengers: Endgame (Afluenzers: Ben Gay)
2) Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (If only this was how it really happened)
3) Toy Story 4 (You've Got A Friend In Lee)
3) (tie) 1917 (Battlefield 1: The Movie)
4) Frozen II (Lost in My Pants in the Woods)
5) Star Wars Episode XI (Stu Wars Episode XXX The Rise of Lando's Wiener)
6) Captain Marvel (Captain Queefer)
7) Joker (Disturding film)
8- El Camino (Jesse Plemons, what happened to you?)
8- tie - Parasite (Crazy Poor Asians versus Crazy Rich Asians)
9) Richard Jewell (Donald Trump)
10) Jumanji: The Next Level (Jagmongi: The Next Murray)

Honorable mentions
Dr. Sleep
- A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Could've Been Marketed Better)
-Aladdin (Will Smith ain't no Robin Williams)
-Lion King (Lion Kaing except darker)

Worst of 2019 (in no order, they're all just terrible)
- Men In Black International (Just let the damn franchise die already)
- 6 Underground (A Michael Bay dumpster fire even Ryan Reynolds can't save.)
- Velvet Buzzsaw (Second Netflix clusterfuck, boring as hell, couldn't finish it)
- The Upside (Bryan Cranston poops on Kevin Hart, and it's not that funny)

Good TV of 2019 in no particular order

1) Prodigal Son - Jesus (Tom Payne) has trouble dealing with his scary father who's a serial killer. He is a profiler for other serial killer cases and his mother is way too damn young. Also, Square Head Phillips can't stop calling the main character Walt Longmire.
2) The Masked Singer - season 2 - More flatulent costumes for Robin Thicke to blur his lines with.
3) The Good Place - Kirsten Bell plays with Ted Danson's fuzzy hair in heaven, or is it hell?
4) The Walking Dead - season 10 - Much better start than season 9 now that Angela KANG is showrunner. Still a lot of slow episodes and Alpha just needs to fucking die.
5) Shameless - season 10 - They reshot the intro since Fiona is gone. The episodes we saw are 'just okay'. This show should end.
6) 9-1-1 season 2 - a much better season with improved writing g and cooler emergencies. Also C-note says sheeeit a lot.
7) Stranger Things - season 3 - seriously one of the best seasons yet.

Honorable mention:
13 Reasons Why - season 3 - An unnecessary season. At least Bryce died.

Documentaries and informational shows:
Greatest Events of World War II in Color on Netflix
The Movies That Made Us
"I won, you losht, get ushed to it shon"
Danny Glovershh - Shhootersh.
